Welcome to 5th Putney Sea Scouts! 

5th Putney Sea Scouts has been part of the Putney community since 1937. We encourage children and young people to develop new skills and build confidence by taking part in challenging and adventurous activities in a friendly, safe environment.

Our headquarters is at Putney Embankment, next to the Beverley Brook Bridge tow path - very close to the start of the annual Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.

Activities and camps

Alongside weekly evening meetings in the Scout Hut, our Scouts, Cubs and Beavers enjoy regular activity days at facilities in and around London and Surrey. Water activity days enable young people to take part in sailing, kayaking, raft building, canoeing, paddle boarding and dragon boating.

Weekend camps are typically held in May (outdoors in tents) and November (indoors), with options for week-long camping trips during the summer.

Beavers (6 yrs - 8 yrs) meet on Thursdays 5pm-6.15pm

Cubs ( 8 yrs - 10 1/2 yrs) meet on Thursdays 6.30pm-8pm

Scouts (10 1/2 yrs - 14 yrs) meet on Fridays 7.30pm-9pm
